Latin America Regional Rewards Leader
About the role:
The Regional Rewards Leader for LAC partners closely with Senior Leadership – both within the Business and People Function – of the Latin America & The Caribbean (LAC) region by providing best in class rewards advisory and consultation. The role will champion and drive the implementation of reward strategies that align with the CoE’s Reward philosophy and that support Marsh McLennan’s overall business objectives. In addition, the role represents LAC across all Marsh McLennan businesses and forms part of the International Rewards leadership team. The Regional Rewards Leader for LAC reports to the Marsh McLennan Compensation Leader.

We will count on you to:
- Act as a client advisor and consultant to the Business and People Function leaders in LAC, by providing best in class rewards advisory and counsel to the CEO, CPO, CFO and broader business executive committee(s)
- Champion and drive the implementation of reward strategies that align with the CoE’s Reward philosophy and that support Marsh McLennan’s overall business objectives
- Consult with People Partners, People Strategy, Finance and other CoEs to understand and diagnose regional compensation priorities, define reward requirements and ensure appropriate partnership, engagement and alignment on delivering solutions.
- Areas of focus include reward program delivery, annual pay review and associated budgets/pools, Executive Committee updates and materials, compensation program effectiveness, and business-led initiatives (e.g. M&A, group consolidations).
- Drive enterprise-wide compensation initiatives and projects by sponsoring, leading, or contributing through cross-functional collaboration, change management, and continuous improvement to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of Marsh McLennan’s reward programs and processes.
- Monitor external market trends and liaise with the broader People Strategy function to identify reward gaps, developing regulatory requirements & other relevant insights.
- Apply a consultative skillset to reward-related themes, turning complex topics into an integrated narrative that aligns with Marsh McLennan’s purpose and commitments.
- Lead, develop, coach and mentor other member(s) of the LAC Compensation Team: Provide guidance on team objectives and provide constructive feedback on performance on an on-going basis. Directly manage a team of one specialized reward professional.
What you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 10 years of strong & relevant experience within total rewards, compensation or related HR role.
- Experienced in working in a matrix structure preferable in multinational organizations
- Outstanding communication skills both in Spanish and English.
- Intellectually curious, seeking opportunities to develop new skills for themselves and others.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets.
- Passion for delivering excellence through working in partnership with others, including cross-function and cross-geography teams.
- Discipline to work both individually as well as collaboratively across a team
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse and global stakeholders globally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a high level of adaptability to different cultural contexts.
