Job Description
The role would be based out of Hyderabad, Global Excellence Center, and reporting to the Business Operations & Consulting group. This would be a global role and would require supporting all the business across the regions. This role would require data manipulation & analytics skills to churn the relevant data, create actionable insights and collaborate with the stakeholder to drive the conversation for implementation. Reporting to Analytics manager, the associate will be responsible and accountable for all quantitative analysis supporting Operational, Finance & Commercial areas of Procurement, Logistics or Supply Chain functions. Reporting to Analytics manager, the associate will have following accountabilities:
Creating analytical models
- Should be analytically sound and should be able to identify and propose solutions for the business problems.
- Create analytical models (descriptive or prescriptive) to add more value or validate the results statistically.
- Experienced with all the aspects of projects and adept in data cleaning, transformations, and sampling on the data.
- Should have good knowledge on Statistical models and able to interpret the results of various models (Correlation, Independence Testing, Regression, Time series Forecasting etc.)
- Experienced in story boarding and should be able to create and propose structure of the report/dashboard between multiple views.
- Summarize the results and present in an Actionable format.
Project Management
- Independently able to lead the discussion with stakeholder from inception to closure.
- Gather requirements and create timelines for the project.
- Identify any inconsistency in the approach and highlight it with a proposed solution.
- Responsible for the task management for the projects.
- Lead 1-2 analysts from operations point of view and support Associate Manager to groom them.
Process Management and Improvement
- Identify areas of improvement in the existing processes by automations, code optimizations, space optimization, intuitive visualizations, reducing cycle time etc.
- Share and implement best practices with the team.
- Guide team on activities like version control, archiving, storage management, and frequent review of existing processes.
Culture
- Have good interpersonal skills and should be able to create cordial relations within the team and function.
- Support/Lead team or function level initiatives to improve culture quotient of the function.
