Job Description:

[MULTIPLE POSITIONS] Avanade Inc. is seeking Lead D365F&O Finance Functional Consultants in Chicago, IL to be part of Avanade's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team in leading the D365F&O finance workstream in our clients' ERP implementations. In this role, you will: collect information, analyze requirements, solve business process problems, and provide technical and operational support to Avanade's clients who are implementing Microsoft's Dynamics 365 ERP system (D365F&O); match business processes to application requirements, transform business requirements into an implementation model and document D365F&O configurations in an application model; lead the prototyping and configuration of the applicable processes within D365F&O to ensure that the ERP system works with respect to our clients' needs; lead workshops with clients, consultants, and client leaders to analyze and design solutions and handle gaps in D365F&O detected during prototyping; work with the Avanade ERP technical team to help design, develop, and test custom solutions that have been approved by clients to address specific gaps, both within D365F&O and in third party applications and services; lead the creation or refinement of clients' business process hierarchies within their business process models so that functional and non-functional requirements are identified and linked; document settings in D365F&O and prepare clients to use their ERP system; and support clients with testing, acceptance and deployment of their ERP system into day-to-day operational use. Periodic travel to client sites (domestic and international) is expected up to 80% of the time. Must live w/in reasonable commuting distance of Chicago, IL. Offered annual salary: $175,000.00. Basic Qualifications:

The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or closely related field (employer will accept a bachelor's equivalent based on a combination of education and experience as determined by a professional evaluation service), plus at least 8 years of experience as a Lead D365F&O Finance Functional Consultant, or in a similar capacity in a technology or IT consulting environment. A qualified applicant's experience must include: 5 years of experience in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, Dynamics Lifecycle Services, or Azure Services (i.e., Active Directory, Virtual Machines, and/or Web Services); 5 years of experience in the ERP finance business domain covering all finance modules within D365; 3 years of experience leading finance workstreams with accountability for the ownership of supply chain business processes; 3 years of experience using Microsoft cloud tools to support D365 ERP implementations including Azure DevOps, Dynamics Lifecycle Services and Microsoft 365; 8 years of functional implementation experience with Microsoft Financials ERP and/or other robust ERP system; 8 years of experience performing financial or management analysis; 8 years of experience establishing and monitoring accounting policies and internal controls; and Certified in Microsoft Dynamics D365 Financials or Microsoft Dynamics AX Financials.
