Lead Developer [remote possible]

This position is open to remote, but requires +/- 3H time zone difference with Ho Chi Minh City, where our headquarters are located.

Job Overview

Joining the SIMCEL team as a Lead Developer, you will have a chance to contribute to disrupting supply chains. SIMCEL helps some of the biggest companies on the planet optimize their supply chains, yielding tremendous business, environmental and social impact. Your mission

Your mission will be to improve the performance of companies all over the world by bringing their supply chain decision-making to the next level. You will lead, care for and grow the development team, enabling us to deliver to our highest potential. You will help tech and business stay sharply aligned, and make sure development is running smoothly.

Individual expectations

• Be in charge of Simcel's day to day technical operations. Use your leadership, planning, communication and decision-making skills to ensure the team delivers consistently

• Join the management team to help it take the best decisions on all key topics

• Be in charge of designing, implementing and maintaining core features of our product

• Working closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate these into technical requirements for the development team

• Work with other management members to build & maintain roadmaps

• Lead code reviews

• Be the heartbeat of the product team

Qualifications

• Absolutely fluent written and oral English communication

• Master's degree in computer science or engineering

• 5+ years as a full stack developer

• At least one previous experience as Lead Developer or related position

• Experience managing mentoring other developers

• 3+ years of experience on several of our most important technologies:  Angular, NodeJS, Typescript, Golang, Python, Mongodb, Kubernetes

• Experience with automated testing / continuous integration

• Proven experience organising and maintaining high quality, complex codebases

• Working experience in an Agile environment with fast-paced deliveries

• Optional:

• Experience in the supply chain industry

• Experience in a multicultural working environment

• Experience working in a start-up environment
