L3Harris' Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Lead, Program Management to join our team. This position will be based at our Salt Lake City, UT facility.

Position Overview:

The Program Manager Lead will be responsible for collaborating with multi-functional teams in the proposal and execution of Advanced Development Programs. This includes oversight of the governance, alignment, assurance, management, integration, optimization, tracking, finances, infrastructure, planning, and improvement for the Program(s) in their remit.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for the cost, schedule and technical performance and the ability to manage large, complex development and/or production programs and the ability to manage and direct assigned programs and respective program teams
• Direct all phases of the program from requirements analysis, initial planning through all phases to successful product delivery and contract close out
• Establish and manage the operating budgets and financial plans to support the individual program and division requirements
• Development and maintenance of the program integrated master schedule to include the internal and external milestones and phases as established by the respective program teams
• Establish and monitor adherence to program master plans and schedules, identify program problems, obtain solutions, direct allocation of resources
• Establish and lead a program risk and opportunity management process
• Lead program teams composed of multi-disciplined, matrix personnel to ensure realization of program objectives
• Proficiency with Earned Value Management methodology and tools
• Maintain program financial forecasts, report progress to financial objectives
• Ensure coordination across multiple programs and/or projects and with other product line leads
• Establish and execute a winning product line capture strategies, including proposal development
• Lead negotiation of contracts/changes, coordinate preparation of proposals, business plans, author and negotiate proposal statements of work/specifications

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
• 5+ years of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) methodology and tools experience
• Ability to obtain a DoD clearance
• Ability to travel (25%)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current/Active Secret clearance
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of UAS data links and SATCOM terminal
• Experience with airborne based systems
• Familiarity with military communications systems
• Experience with FRACAS, trend analysis, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and repair Turn-Around-Time (TAT) metrics
