The Opportunity

DAT Solutions is seeking a full-time Lead Qualifier for Inside Sales to join the Freight Matching Sales Department in Beaverton, Oregon.

Summary

The Lead Qualifier is responsible for processing and assigning lead opportunities that result in increased revenue by introducing DAT Solutions product and service information to prospective customers.

Lead Qualifier Qualifications:

LEAD QUALIFIER Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receives calls and manages web requests for products/services
  • Process Web leads using CRM 
  • Inbound phone calls to gather information to pass leads appropriately 
  • Recognizes high interest prospects and makes timely and effective transfers to Sales Representative
  • Focuses on high volume lead processing by deduping and following processes
  • During downtime makes calls or emails  to prospects
  • Tracks and reports out on weekly and monthly basis for both phone and web leads to ensure all leads have been followed up on appropriately

Education:  

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required, college degree preferred.

Skill:  

Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks.

Job Complexity:  

Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making.

Supervision:  

Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments.

Experience:  

Typically requires a minimum of 0 - 1 year of related experience.

Language Skills:  

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.  Ability to write simple correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:  

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:  

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
