Lead Software Test Automation Engineer( C# ,Selenium, API testing)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and execute key automated testing suites within multi-tier SaaS products with desktop/web-based, plugin-based, mobile-based clients on the C#/.NET/SQL Server technology stack. 
• Conduct thorough API testing to ensure seamless integration and data exchange.
• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test suites to support various software projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation testing needs, requirements, and priorities.
• Define automation strategies and frameworks in alignment with industry best practices.
• Mentor and guide QA team members in automation techniques, tools, and best practices.
• Oversee the execution of automated tests, analyze test results, and report on test status and quality metrics.
• Coordinate with development and product teams to address automation-related issues and drive resolutions.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and trends in automation testing to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to improving overall software quality processes and methodologies.
• Design, build, and test high quality reusable automated test harnesses and modules.
• Develop and support automated unit, system, performance, and load test harnesses and modules.
• Leverage continuous build and automated test frameworks as well as experience delivering high quality products on time while working in Agile Teams and following Agile + SAFe methodologies.
• Individual tasks within a work team, using the ability to manage multiple priorities and generate innovative problem-solving solutions.
• Works towards solving complex problems independently.
• Mentor less-experienced staff in their career development.
• Generates innovative approaches and solutions to recurring problems.
• Improves efficiencies and reduces costs through adherence and enhancements to project management methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in the software industry (QA and/or Development).
• 6+ years of automation experience building maintainable automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium).
• 5+ years experience testing client facing software.
• 5+ years experience designing, building and testing high quality reusable automated test harnesses and modules.
• Demonstrates aptitude for analytical problem-solving.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• 5+ years experience documenting defects, reproduction steps, RCA’s, and producing technical documentation.
• 5+ years experience troubleshooting technical issues with internal or external customers.
• 3+ years experience with github
• 5+ years experience with test automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with testing commercial client facing software.
• Experience implementing designs and provides feedback on the development process.
• Experience developing and supporting automated unit, system, performance, and load test suites.
• Experience leveraging continuous build and automated test frameworks.
• Experiencing evaluating and improving the interactions and processes with an Agile Development team.
