The Brooks Brand Marketing team is responsible for helping Brooks add new runners to our brand by reaching and engaging those who run through both performance and lifestyle products. As the Lifestyle Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading, planning, and development of strategic seasonal go-to-market campaigns for inline Lifestyle products and Lifestyle collaborations. You will partner closely with the Brand Marketing team to align to strategic seasonal priorities and lead the development of the Lifestyle campaigns that map back to them.

You will work to collaborate cross-functionally with product and marketing teams, as well as global business leaders to ensure all plans are integrated and aligned to overall marketing strategy, driving creative workstreams with the internal Creative Studio and external agencies to bring the strategy and plan to life visually. You will also manage external relationships with agencies and collaborators.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong background in brand and product storytelling, the ability to guide cross-functional groups to a cohesive and integrated output, knowledge of our product creation process, and experience effectively managing external partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of go-to-market strategy for inline Lifestyle products and Lifestyle collaborations
- Identify and facilitate collaboration with product partners, including contract negotiation and finalization
- Manage relationships with external partners and coordinate product development with the footwear merchandising team, connecting our external partners with our internal product teams in an effective and efficient way
- Own Lifestyle campaign development from brief-in to in-market asset creation
- Create and evolve Lifestyle go-to-market strategy, ensuring internal alignment among key Global and regional stakeholders
- Work with internal stakeholders to create and operationalize a go-to-market process that is distinct from our inline performance process and allows for Lifestyle products to have shorter lead times between product briefing and go-to-market date
- Organize and present Lifestyle marketing campaigns to key business stakeholders including Sales Management, Marketing Leadership Team, and Executive Leadership Team
- Manage communication around calendar updates/shifts to assure all stakeholders have clear understanding and guidance on how to feature Lifestyle stories in their channels and how they ladder back to overall strategic priorities
- Partner cross-functionally on seasonal calendar and strategy, ensuring transparency and alignment across performance and Lifestyle businesses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related profession preferred or equivalent education and experience
- 7+ years of experience in brand or product marketing
- Proven experience in cross-functional collaboration and partnership across multiple divisions
- Experience managing external relationships, including contract negotiation
- Strong creative, planning and conceptual skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication
- Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
- Keen attention to detail in planning, organization, and execution of tasks, while still seeing the big picture and understanding how all the pieces fit together and affect one another
- Ability to anticipate how a decision made can affect our customers, our partners, our products, or other departments’ operations and/or morale; “connecting the dots”
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Proactive, self-starter and is hungry to learn about and implement new types of marketing programs
- Passionate participation in Brooks Running’s activities a plus, overridden by the ability to understand and empathize with the runner
- Embraces and lives the Brooks values!
- Travel 6-8 times/year for partner meetings, content shoots, and activations as needed
Compensation: The pay range for this position, based out of the Brooks Seattle HQ, is $114,945 - $172,469 per year. Base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
