About the role 

Responsible for the logistics and transportation of the company, as well as keeping up to date all official documentation required by government entities related to your position.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for monitoring import and export shipments.

• Work with customs brokers to monitor shipments.

• Work with government agencies to avoid delays in the import/export process.

• Responsible for monitoring the carriers we use when moving materials, products, machinery, etc., to ensure compliance with transportation standards and measures.

• Influence safety compliance in the shipping area through training on policies and best practices.

• Ensure that freights are shipped and handled according to established procedure.

• Ensure the right quantity, the right material, the right lot and the right market.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineer, Business Administration, International Trades or related careers.

• Minimum 1 year and half of experience working with import and export.

• Demonstrated knowledge in current legislation and free trade zone regulations.

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and SAP.

• Must be fluent in oral and written English

• Availability to work on-site
