THE ROLE
We are looking for a dedicated Logistics Trainee with a clear growth-oriented mindset, who is inspired by Indie Campersโ mission of democratising road trips, enabling the freedom of movement and connecting travellers worldwide. Your commitment, problem-solving approach, market drive, people-orientation and proactivity will play a critical role in the achievement of high-performance results from operations, fleet management and cost efficiency perspectives across Europe and our locations in other continents. You will be responsible for Key Performance Indicators within the logistics side of Indie Campers business!
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
- You will assist our Logistics team in: fleet allocation and all activities related to that;
- Assist the Senior Logistic Specialist in fleet distribution and transportation;
- Coordinate with local teams to make sure vans are well prepared and ready for transportation;
- Source service providers and control service provider invoices and facilitate payments.
- Help optimise our transportation process to be more time and cost efficient;
- Help us supervise overall quality and efficiency;
- Lead minor projects within the operations department.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Enrolled or recently finished Degree in Logistics, Engineering or Business Management;
- English proficiency (mandatory);
- Experience with Microsoft Excel / Google Spreadsheets and Microsoft Powerpoint / Google Slides;
- Excellent analytical and organisational skills;
- Effective communicator in stressful situations;
- Problem solver.
