What you'll do...
Manager, Social Operations

The manager of moderation will oversee reporting and analytics for the brand social team. The primary accountability for this role is to support the brand social team in setting goals and Indicators for the fiscal year. You will take ownership of presenting data on recent posts in a reflective and solution focus to continue improving content creation and performance
What you'll do:
  • Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with important partners; supporting plans and projects to meet customer and business needs; identifying and communicating goals and objectives; building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results; identifying and addressing improvement opportunities; and demonstrating adaptability and promoting continuous learning.
  • Marketing Strategy: Understands and supports the development of Walmart's marketing strategy and brand goals. Leverages available data (demographics, purchasing history/transaction records, surveys, social media data, site visit logs, product reviews, responses to advertisements) to develop customer insights (including multicultural considerations) and suggest ways to differentiate Walmart in the marketplace. Uses these insights to effectively lead the planning of quarterly calendaring sessions and the daily execution of Walmart's content calendar.
  • Media Strategy: Sets up media campaigns using approved taxonomy, audiences, and campaign tagging to enhance data tracking capabilities of content across channels within campaigns and at the post level. Manages social content briefing workflows, ensuring correct tagging implementation
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Leads execution of reporting, continual optimization, rhythm of comms, and meaningful data with collaboration from agency partners ensuring agreement across brand social teams. Provides strategic reflection on social performance, developing meaningful data insights to inform future content development
  • Planning and Implementation: Supports social team operations inclusive of marketing intake surveys, intranet, workflows, and content archival/removal. Attend daily standup meetings and provide data-driven recommendations for content
  • Collaboration: Manages and proactively creates social reporting dashboards and provides team training as needed to educate and allow the brand social team to pull simple data sets that are outside of reporting requests.
  • Annual Operating Plan: Supports the development of the annual operating plan (AOP). Conducts analysis for specific programs and reviews research and customer data in partnership with broader social team, develops annual & campaign goals
  • Marketing Implementation: Manages communications (e.g., email, mobile, direct mail, signing, social media) to ensure working directly with SMM & reporting vendors to support day-to-day tasks including tagging posts, etc.

What you'll bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field and 1 years' experience in marketing or related field OR 5 years' experience in marketing or related field. Preferred Master's degree in Business Administration and 3 years experience in marketing or related field.
