Manager, ECMS Operations

Overview

As a Manager of ECMS Operations, you will have experience and a passion for delivering next-generation public cloud managed services for our customers onto the Azure platform. This role will be responsible for working with the business and technical practice leaders with a focus on driving innovation as it relates to customer experience and internal operational processes. Ideal candidates should have multiple years of experience overseeing the delivery of complex, globally diverse services into the public cloud.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

• Defining, creation, and execution of operational processes that drive innovation and efficiency of the delivery of cloud managed services
• Lead and manage Cloud Engineering Support Teams
• Define and Measure KPIs as it relates to service delivery and customer satisfaction
• Leverage Microsoft's Azure DevOps or similar work tracking tools to manage projects
• Work with our strong team of multi-disciplinary geographically distributed developers, data ops and field staff in a fast-paced environment, working side by side and energizing as a whole
• Manage and deliver Cloud product releases on time using Agile process in co-ordination with architecture team and program management.
• Participate regularly as a duty manager in an on-call rotation.

Job Knowledge/Skills:

• Ability to define, create, and measure operational processes that drives innovation
• Azure experience with multiple Azure IaaS and PaaS offerings
• Familiar with public cloud security and governance
• Experience with cloud-native and service-oriented architectures
• Agile development models
• Experience in documenting and explaining complex system requirements
• Collaborative, with the ability to influence team members, development teams, and other business groups, often without direct management authority.
• Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders' expectations and effectively mitigating dissatisfied stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing strong multi-disciplinary geographically distributed teams in a fast-paced environment, handling technical and operational challenges for growth
• End to end experience in defining and delivering Customer Experience from the initial sales cycle to the ongoing support phase

Education and Experience:

• Managerial experience in a Professional or Managed Services unit delivering services to Enterprise customers in the Public Cloud
• 2+ years of experience managing technical/engineering teams
• 3+ years of experience in leading and overseeing the delivery of public cloud services
• 7+ years of experience in overseeing the delivery of complex datacenter and/or public cloud environments

Position Specifics:

The base salary range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $120,000 and $160,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including commissions and discretionary bonuses, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Physical Requirements of Position:

Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally and active work that could include climbing a ladder and using power tools.
