The Protective Services Organization is responsible for providing a safe, confidential and secure environment for the CEO, the CTO, and their families -- while constantly embodying our values of Kind, Smart, and Creative. The scope of this team stretches internationally and includes residential security; event and venue security; secure transportation; protective intelligence; travel security, site advance security planning, coordination and training.Â
We’re looking for a Manager, Residential Security Operations to join our team!Â
What you’ll do:
Reporting to the Director, Protective Services you will lead a comprehensive multi-property residential security program that provides a safe and secure environment for senior executives, family members, and guests
Manage and develop 10+ Residential Security Officers (RSOs); conduct frequent one on one meetings to assess their performance, provide feedback and mentorship, and develop them as future leaders
Oversee the 24/7/365 residential Command Post operations, ensuring the security technology systems function as expected and operating procedures are complied with by team members
Develop security plans, security operation procedures, and emergency protocols for any new projects, and align with trusted vendors and relevant partners to ensure that these plans are reasonable, implementable, balanced, and dynamic in both their design and execution
Manage and continuously review the Protective Services training program to include: identification of training needs, creation, implementation, coordination, budgeting and administration of training.Â
Develop in-person and virtual learning modules to support safety and security training as well as professional development
Expand the security training program and ensure all appropriate personnel are trained and evaluated to established policies and procedures. Conduct drills and other exercises to reinforce policies and test for understanding. Continuously review the training program and update learning content to stay compliant with all Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS) requirements, laws and industry standards.
Manage the Protective Services BSIS program on a day to day basis, conducting audits and consistent evaluations to ensure compliance.
Produce timely, well written reports and metrics
Establish relationships and act as the liaison with local emergency and law enforcement services
Perform ad hoc duties and responsibilities as required to support day to day operationsÂ

Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication
Impeccable customer service approach and skills with the ability to build strong relationships with cross functional team members
Expert problem solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential risks and challenges
Flexibility to work non-traditional schedules including holidays, nights, and weekends to adapt to our 24/7 operation
High resiliency and flexibility, with the ability to work well independently, as well as in a team environment
Proficient user of workplace information technology, including an understanding of Windows and iOS based computing in order to create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, slide presentations and other products
Ability to travel, internationally and domestically, up to 25% of the timeÂ
Exceptional attention to detail, situational awareness and observation skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentialityÂ
Ability to adhere to Snap travel and financial policies and the Protective Services team standard operating procedures and guidelinesÂ
People management experience that demonstrates the ability to flex styles based on team member needs and growth objectives
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant work experience in residential or executive security, law enforcement or the military, with people management experienceÂ
Demonstrated understanding of residential security operations, executive protection and security technology
Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
Valid passport and ability to obtain international visas
Valid California BSIS Guard Card and Firearms Permit
Valid California Carry Concealed Weapon (CCW) license or LEOSA eligible
Ability stay on your feet for extended periods to time for support to security operations
Current CPR and Basic First Aid certification
Firearms instructor certificate from BSIS
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to support site security operations as required
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience
Previous directly relevant experience managing a residential security team or corporate security operations center
Prior medical and trauma training and certified in TCCC, EMT or similar
Valid California CCW
