Manager IT, Supply Chain Systems

Job Summary

Globally responsible for leading IT projects and support for Kontoor's Supply Chain Systems, including product development, forecasting and planning, manufacturing, distribution, sourcing, and logistics. This individual will manage and provide leadership to the Kontoor Supply Chain IT team, partnering with business leads to identify and define system needs and projects, and influence business practices key to the overall success of Kontoor's supply chain operations

They may be called upon to lead as a program manager and expected to contribute to overall planning and IT strategy, innovation, and research. This individual must utilize leadership qualities to inspire collaboration and trust across various functional business and IT teams from both within and outside Kontoor Brands.

Responsibilities

Leadership and management of global Supply Chain IT projects which includes:

Accountable for design, implementation, and delivery of the Supply Chain IT solutions. Influences same for partner systems such as Distribution, Planning Manufacturing, Sourcing and Logistics, MDM, OTC, and PTP. This includes but is not limited to responsibility for the following:

• Workplans including SI and Kontoor partner systems.
• Overall IT solution definition, design, plan, execution, and support
• Resolution of project issues
• Tracking and updates of project deliverables and status
• Definition and delivery of requirements from/to KB partner systems
• Adherence to agreed-upon scope, budget, and timeline.

Coordinate team members as needed to insure successful project execution. 

Ensure application compliance to security standards.

Partner with and influence System Integrator and Business Leads to insure successful project execution.

As part of Long-Term Support, responsible for development, implementation, and continuous improvement programs and processes to provide the following. This includes influencing the definition and development of these programs.

• Changes and support of applications which meet all agreed-upon scope, budget, and timeline.
• Quality assurance plans/testing and implementation of best practices
• Standards and procedures for project life cycle and documentation
• Support team schedule, issue and progress reporting.
• Leadership to identify and control areas of risk and drive resolution of issues.

Partner with and influence other Kontoor IT teams to create and manage key processes which drive project management as well as support Kontoor strategy and business priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• 12+ Year Experience with IT project and process management
• 8+ Years of Supply Chian IT project experience preferably in the apparel or consumer products industry.
• 5+ Years’ Experience in Leading Supply Chain project teams
• 7+ Exposure to general ERP systems (e.g SAP)– Planning, sourcing, manufacturing, procure to pay, order to cash, and master data concepts
• Travel, including foreign, as required up to 20%-30% of the time.
