TE's Medical business unit, part of the Industrial Solutions segment, offers medical device OEMs, a complete product offering and capability portfolio for minimally invasive, imaging, surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic devices. You will have an exciting opportunity to be a technical resource for the growing heat shrink tubing operations business.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of manufacturing processes related the production of heat shrink tubing
• Perform root cause investigations and execute corrective actions for non-conforming products using analytical tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and 8D
• Write technical documentation, such as process instructions, process validation plans and reports, process development plans and reports, and non-conforming material reports
• Execute process validation activities following the IQ, OQ, and PQ approach
• Lead cost reduction projects in cross-functional teams
• Train manufacturing personnel on process changes
• Collaborate effectively with others across the organization to collectively achieve business objectives
• Communicate effectively through written, verbal, non-verbal, and visual methods
• Adhere to quality and compliance standards to ensure safe and effective use of the products TE manufactures

What your background should look like:

• BS in manufacturing or mechanical engineering, or related engineering degree, equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 3 or more years' experience supporting a manufacturing environment
• Track record of project completions that deliver business results
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Medical device manufacturing experience is a plus

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $83,000 - $124,600 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
