MarketSource Operations Sourcing Associate

The MarketSource Operations Sourcing Associate, is responsible to identify the products requested by the customer and get product, price and availability from the supplier, to be able to provide the customer a quotation. They need to support the requisition process in line with achieving the business targets and KPIs and SLA through fast and diligent process fulfillment.

Requisition Management Market Source business:

• Review the requisitions for products and /services
• Source and negotiate the product with the supplier; check if suppliers are eligible for orders; update and maintain vendors database
• Make the necessary validation – quote, price, payment terms, delivery requirements and costs etc and convert/release/verify the orders or quotations
• Negotiates on behalf of VWR to drive savings while maintaining positive supplier relationships.
• Pricing and delivery costs based on contractual agreement with each client (ZLST, ZPSP etc); verify/coordinate article Master Data;
• Complete requisition status in all ERP Systems including those provided by the clients (ae Ariba)
• Coordinate communication with internal stakeholder departments; and end users; Updates and follow ups as per SOP
• Understand departmental standards, KPIs, SLAs and procedures and help to ensure that quality standards are met.
• Trouble shoot and monitor requisition flow; including customers updated on open requests
• Close and strict following of work procedure, ensuring quality target
• Volunteer to assist with special projects, or as per business requirement

Other tasks might include but are not limited to various process improvements and/or process related projects like:

• Workload assignment and tracking ( e.g. CRM tickets or Product request emails; Workflow tools)
• Analysis and reporting on country/customer levels;
• Audit requests and report on error rate/Quality results
• Writing, updating and improving SOP;
• Knowledge transfer to new hires when required (process overview, procedure explanation, mentoring, coaching).

Academic: University Qualification; Bachelor’s degree

• 3+ years experience in a fast paced environment, focused on customer experience and customers facing

Soft skills:

• Highly customer centric as well as proactive and team focused, and solution oriented
• Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably interact with internal and external stakeholders and various client types (e.g. technical, end user, and economic buyers) and achieve mastery in service delivery.
• Negotiation skills when discussing mainly with vendors
• High sense of responsibility and self-starter; very adaptable and open to change
• Analytical skills to thinks through complex problems. Able to work under pressure and to tackle multiple subjects at the time (multitasking)
• Good communication and organization skills

IT Skills: MS Office, SAP, demonstrate technical capacity of using different platforms, including CRM and Sharepoint
