What You Will Do

• We have an opportunity for a MCL Quality Technical Team Member to be based in Columbus, GA. (onsite role)
• 1st shift 6am-4:30p
• Prepare specimens by operating different equipment for multiple mounting and polishing methods
• Utilize different chemicals for the etching process
• Use multiple machines to perform various metallurgical tests on the specimens
• Maintaining lab supplies and order supplies and chemicals for testing
• Perform 6s each shift
• Engage in process optimization to allow success of production/quality goals while achieving and maintaining cost savings

Qualifications You Must Have

• HS Diploma or GED

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Two years' experience in quality/aerospace manufacturing environment.
• Wire EDM and water jet experience
• Technical degree preferred.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and quality procedures.
• Understanding of internal and external customer requirements with a high attention to detail in resolving findings.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.
