Media Intelligence Manager

This role is critical to oversee and track all media coverage for GoTo, Gojek, GTF, and also Tokopedia. Through media monitoring, we can track the public sentiment, gain insight on competitors, analyze external perception towards our company’s reputation, and mitigate issues quickly. This role also allows CA to measure our success and lessons learned from all the efforts that we take to build the company’s reputation.This role oversees other junior members of the team and a group of interns. The absence of this role will disrupt the aforementioned functions and will leave the CA team in blind on what public perceive about us. 

What you will do

• Media Monitoring and Analysis

Oversee the tracking of media coverage and social media mentions for our brands and competitors.

Utilize media monitoring tools to collect and analyze data from various media channels.

Identify emerging trends, potential issues, and opportunities within the media landscape.




• Insights and Reporting

Develop and present detailed reports on media coverage, sentiment analysis, and industry trends.

Create and maintain dashboards to track our brands' performance.

Conduct a thorough analysis of competitors’ media strategies to benchmark our performance.

Collaborate with various divisions to align with overall business objectives and provide reports as needed.




• Crisis Management

Monitor and report potential crises in a timely manner to mitigate negative impact.




• Team Leadership

Lead and manage a team of media analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development.

Assign tasks, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

What you will need

• 6+ years of experience in media intelligence, media monitoring, social listening, or other related fields
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Highly motivated and proactiveAbility to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Advance proficiency in media monitoring/social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Meltwater, Brandwatch)
• Advance proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Spreadsheets, PowerPoint or Google Slides and data visualization tools such as Looker Studio.
• Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus
