Methods and continuous improvement intern

What will you do?

The methods and continuous improvement intern will play a crucial role in supporting the industrialization of a new mechanical assembly line and assisting with daily production operations. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the production team with daily operational requirements.
• Coordinating with vendors for the installation of equipment.
• Analyzing line balancing to optimize efficiency.
• Developing a project plan for the ramp-up phase of new production.

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a program in industrial engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with industrialization concepts, including line balancing, time studies, budget adherence, and project management.
• Effective communication skills for subcontractor coordination and group interactions.
• Proficiency in Power BI, Excel VBA, Access database creation, and process automation.
