Job Description Summary

As Metrics & Data Analysis Specialist you will be the Official Sourcing counterpart for both Finance and IT issues and, internally to Sourcing, you shall validate Sourcing Financial figures for Year to Date, Forecast, Budget and Strategy Review (and related updates). At the same time, you have also to put in place the necessary actions needed for implementing Oracle Reports and Dashboard.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

In this role, you will report to the GE Avio Metrics & Data Analysis Manager and will be responsible for:

• Creating and validating the Year-to-Date Sourcing financial reports.
• Partnering with Sourcing Team Leaders and Commodity Leaders in determining the Sourcing Financials (Total Buy, Net Inflation, D2P) for the Line of Sight on monthly basis, adhering to both Sourcing and Finance timescales.
• Coordinating with Sourcing Team Leaders and Commodity Leaders in determining the Sourcing Financials (Total Buy, Net Inflation, Overhead costs, D2P) for both Budget, related updates of the Budget and Strategy review processes.
• Supporting the GEA Czech Sourcing Leader in identifying Saving projects to achieve yearly targets.
• Identifying and closing the gap on Sourcing metrics definition and implementation between GE Avio and GE Czech.
• Managing the relation with IT for the necessary downloads from Oracle, creation of new Reports and update of the existing ones as necessary.
• Collaborating with with Digital Teams for automatization of processes through Dashboards or other similar Tools.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Degree from an relevant accredited university or college. Candidates without a degree will also be considered if they have extensive experience in the above responsibilities and meet other requirements .
• Proficiency in Office Automation tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Some experience in Cost and Financial Analysis, Program Management, Sourcing or equivalent.
• Dynamic personality with strong influencing, collaboration, and relationship-building skills, capable of working in cross-functional teams and adaptable to changing scenarios with the ability to quickly replan actions.
• Familiarity with Oracle, including downloading reports and files is a plus.
• Fluent in English and advanced Czech.
• EU Work/Stay Permit

Others: Availability to travel one time during a quarter to Italy (Turin).
