Key Challenges
- Challenge Example 1: This candidate may encounter a challenge where our DMI partners disagree with the volume forecasted for an upcoming launch. When dimensioning we systematically leverage key inputs to ensure each facet of what it takes to evaluate the size of the prize where key competitors and internal benchmarks have been assessed. Yet, in this instance, the DMI has different expectations and wants the forecasted volumes to be bigger. When reassessing the volumes, it's incumbent on us to take a step back and determine if the requested volume is realistic, and though it would be a stretch, if it is in the realm of possibility, what else would be needed from DMI partners to achieve the new forecast. From there, a strategy is crafted and presented to our partners to gain their alignment before the forecast is officially revised.
- Challenge Example 2: This person will be responsible for leading a key product category, while also supporting the director with key face pillars and new launches. Currently, while subject to change, lip is this category which represents around 10% of the business. The global team has intensive demands as does complexion. Lip global team examples include competitive insights, shade relevancy and forecasting. That said, Face is the key priority for the business (~ 50% WOB) and one of the most important strategic priorities for the brand. There will be times when it is challenging to balance the priorities of Lip alongside strategic initiatives for Face. When that occurs, you will work closely with the Director of Face and Lip in collaboration with the Head of Makeup Marketing to reprioritize accordingly, which will then result in your N+1 and N+2 communicating to the Lip team accordingly on your behalf to secure realignment.
What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 4-7 years cosmetic marketing experience required
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross functional teams
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Knowledge of industry
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment
- Adaptability in a rapidly changing environment
What's In It For You:
- Salary Range: $100,400-143,000
- Competitive Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Pension Plan)
- Hybrid Work Policy (3 Days in Office, 2 Days Work from Home)
