Microsoft Power Platform Developer

We are seeking a talented professional that is eager to support our business through technology. This position is the owner of our Power Platform ecosystem. This includes Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. A strong data and systems-focused mind will excel in this position and create new insights for our organization through data visualizations and improve efficiency through new Power Apps. POSITION RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: 

• Manage, maintain and extend the Trek Travel Power Platform infrastructure 
• Develop and maintain Power Apps for our internal and external users 
• Automate business processes and enable extended Power Apps functionality with Power Automate 
• Analyze business data, suggest data visualizations, and ensure accurate data metrics 
• Develop data visualizations and reporting solutions using Power BI 
• Build and suggest data insights with creative thinking and data analysis 
• Support integrations with our ERP/CRM data 
• Maintain and support our reporting data ecosystem 
• Gather functional requirements from stakeholders and translate into technical tasks 
• Create development roadmaps for Power Platform products 
• Manage data integrations with our Power BI and Power Apps environment 
• Support data connection to and from Qualtrics 

WHAT ELSE WE’D LIKE TO SEE FROM YOU: 

• You believe in the importance of hospitality and customer service, recognizing that customers are all around. 
• ​​​​​​​Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power BI, and Power Automate 
• Experience with SharePoint and other Microsoft collaboration tools 
• Experience creating dashboard visualizations for sales, operations, or evaluation 
• Power Platform Developer Associate certification or higher is a nice to have 
• Excellent communication skills – verbal & written. 
• Expert attention to detail, efficiency and works with a sense of urgency.

This is a full-time exempt position and is eligible for Trek Travel’s competitive benefits package. This position reports to the Director of Technology and is based at our office located in Madison, Wisconsin with the flexibility to be remote based on location. Interest in the active travel industry is beneficial, but not necessary.
