Job Description
BigBear.ai is seeking a highly creative Mid Level CNO Programmer with detective skills to tackle the riddles of cyber security and provide capabilities development. This position will support a customer full time on site in Maryland.
What you will do
Responsibilities may include:
- Mentoring junior analyst/programmers
- Leading and contributing to design, code and software readiness reviews.
- Developing tools to automate security testing and enable more efficient discovery and resolution of security problems.
- Applying deep knowledge of application attack vectors and mitigation techniques.
- Demonstrating strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a small team setting.
- Regular interaction with product users to replicate and fix flaws in the initial design.
- Integrate with the overall frameworks and understand the entire end-to-end system.
- Working closely with customers to understand ever-changing requirements and develop documentation pertinent to operating and supporting developed software and techniques.
What you need to have
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience; (in lieu of Bachelor's degree, 4 additional years of experience in computer science, information systems or network engineering)
- Clearance: must possess and maintain a TS clearance with polygraph
- Minimum one (1) year experience programming in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
- Minimum one (1) year experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments OR minimum one (1) year experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments. Familiarity with software version control tools (i.e. Subversion, CVS, etc.).
What we'd like you to have
- Visual Studio, windbg, and .NET experience
- Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, or similar binary analysis tool
- Experience in reversing and debugging in real-time using virtual or physical debuggers
- Experience with IPv4 Protocol and Networking
- Familiarity with Subversion
- Knowledge of Mobile Operating Systems
