Job Description

To help continue our rapid growth and solve our clients’ toughest problems, we need a Systems Engineer to join our Managed Services – Client Service team. If you love to solve problems and add value, please consider what your typical days might look like… 

• You will provide amazing support to our clients, greatly exceeding their experience of what anyone else has ever done for them. 
• You will perform strategic planning in conjunction with our clients, including identification and analysis of projects to fulfill strategic and operational needs. 
• You will follow best practices to install, configure, test, and maintain hardware, operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• You will work with vendors and client IT personnel for problem resolution. 
• You will write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks. 
• You will proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability while maintaining security, backup, and redundancy strategies. 
• You will keep client documentation up-to-date and accurate. 
• You will work collaboratively with teams of smart, thoughtful people to best meet the needs of our clients.
• You will mentor team junior members and participate in technical training of peers. 

Qualifications

Some of the skills we are expecting are. . . 

• You should possess strong analytical skills and a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot problems. 
• You should possess excellent communication and customer service skills, both written and oral.
• You should be able to explain just about anything technical to anyone, regardless of their background. 
• MCSA / AZ-104 or equivalent certification. 
• AS/BS in Computer Information Technology or related subject preferred 
• You should be willing to participate in occasional scheduled off-hours work as necessary 
• You should be able to lift to 50 lbs. 

• You should have 10+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator. 

Some of the technical skills we are expecting. . . 

• Experience with Windows Servers: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Certificates, Backups, Antivirus 
• Experience with Cloud IaaS, preferably with Azure 
• Experience with Virtualization (VMWare / Hyper-V) 
• Experience with Storage Networks 
• Experience with monitoring/automation with RMM tools 
• Experience with Powershell scripting 
• Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) a plus
