The role:
The Junior Account Manager is responsible for selling and supporting our existing and new retail partners. You will collaborate closely with regional account managers to nurture and develop relationships with retail accounts, ensuring favorable business terms. As a proactive self-starter, you will diligently follow up on leads to secure new, strategically-aligned business partners. You'll process orders and maintain effective communication, while coordinating stock delivery with our operations team. With opportunities for travel to meet accounts, attend events, and demo our products, you'll play a vital role in driving continuous improvements and supporting our overall company growth. What you'll do:
- Collaborate with the regional account managers on managing retail accounts - developing relationships and terms of business.
- Proactively and consistently follow up on leads to generate new brand aligned, targeted business partners.
- Process orders and order-related communications.
- Collaborate with our operations team to coordinate the delivery of stock to retail partners.
- Demonstrate regular, open and engaging communication with your accounts.
- Demo our products at trade shows, training events and account meetings (training will be given!).
- Drive continuous improvements and efficiencies in our account management processes.
- Some travel is expected to meet with accounts, attend events/tradeshows, and visit stores within your channel.
- Support our growth. This role will have their hands in a lot of projects to help our team and company succeed. Someone who loves working on a number of different projects will be a great fit for this role.

What you'll need to succeed:
- Have 1 to 3 years experience of working in a B2B sales and/or account management role, preferably within the outdoor industry, consumer goods, or a retailer.
- Have excellent communication and people skills.
- Are natural at building positive authentic working relationships, both internally and externally.
- Have a well-organized way of working and handling client requests.
- Have great attention to detail.
- Can ace presentations and product demonstrations
- Are proactive and efficient. Our customers are our number one priority, we want them to feel valued and so we need to respond to them quickly, and more importantly, positively.
- Have experience of, or show willing to quickly learn how to use, FreshSales CRM, Slack and SAP software
- Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Have a positive, growth mindset.
