Operations Assistant - Private Sector – BlueTeam

As an Operation Assistant, you will be responsible for monitoring project status’, preparing progress reports, reviewing and auditing project files, preparing project closeouts, monitoring and assisting team members in the field of deliverables and meeting milestones. 

 

What you’ll do….

  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
  • Ensure all projects are managed from initial contact with client through completion
  • Effectively communicate and work with BlueTeam including, Business Development, Project Managers, and all other staff
  • Assist in the training of new or current employees as directed by your supervisor
  • Perform and lead training meetings or classes as needed
  • Must be a quick learner and be able to adapt quickly on the fly
  • Provide feedback and communicate constantly with supervisor to ensure clear expectations and maximum productivity
  • Ensure compliance of projects with all state and federal laws
  • Go out of the way to ensure the project teams are effectively managing client expectations
  • Provide overall project administration for projects, maintaining project objectives, timelines and procedures
  • Assist and liaison as necessary with subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project activities
  • Assist project teams with project objectives, policies, procedures, schedules, and performance standards
  • Assist in preparing and submitting permit packages, and inspections
  • Ability to travel nationally and internationally during large events
  • Maintain client relationships, supporting project management
  • Meeting minutes, RFI and submittal management
  • Assist in material and subcontractor procurement and coordination
  • AutoCAD and Bluebeam experience is a plus – assist in project and material take offs
  • Microsoft Project experience a plus – maintain and update project scheduling as needed
  • Ability to read design drawings and specifications a plus
  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required

What you’ll need…

  • Three (3) + years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of experience working in project management, administration, and or related education
  • Demonstrate efficient computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as use of PDA's
