About The 500 Global Flagship Accelerator Program

The accelerator that started it all - The SF Accelerator program is a four-month-long program geared towards helping founders become seasoned leaders and helping their companies to scale. The objective is to develop the founders’ leadership and management skills as well as to help them achieve ambitious growth goals.

During the program, we work closely with each founding team to define key metrics, develop and install a growth engine, and help craft a fundraising strategy to reach financing goals in an accelerated manner.

The program is both virtual and in-person, and applications are on a rolling basis.

The ideal candidate should exhibit robust organizational skills, demonstrating a keen sense of responsibility in undertaking diverse tasks. This role necessitates a proactive approach towards networking initiatives, where the individual will actively engage in fostering connections and collaborating with the 500 Global team.

You love startups! You have a founder's mentality and are always learning, experimenting and striving for outsized outcomes. You're also the most organized person you know. You prioritize ruthlessly so that the most meaningful work always gets done ahead of schedule without losing track of other priorities.

Responsibilities

•  In partnership with the Program Manager and broader Accelerator Operations team, support all aspects of the 500 Global Flagship Accelerator Program end to end with a special focus on Demo Day.
• Participate in the planning and execution of Accelerator Program related events including happy hours, lunch and learns and other social gatherings.
• Own and lead community management efforts with batch alumni. As part of the broader Accelerator Team, assist with mentor management (scheduling, evaluating, recruiting, engaging), speaker recruitment, engagement, and planning and curriculum development.
• Take part in strategic analysis projects including market research and program budgeting.
• Serve as the main point of contact for cross functional technical stack management interfacing directly with the Product, Systems and Data teams.
• Support strategic non-investment projects and programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Education: Undergraduate degree (or equivalent), 
• Experience: 2 or more years of experience in Accelerator Program Management, Event Management, or similar

Nice to have

• VC experience
• Startup experience
