Job Description

AECOM's West Region Water Business Line is actively seeking an Operations Leadership Manager (Engineering) to provide day-to-day operations management overseeing a portfolio of 150+ projects working with 20+ Projects Managers. In this role you will be accountable for managing operations primarily for the Surface Water/Water Resources Department to ensure delivery of project desired outcomes. This is a highly visible role interfacing with key players throughout the organization with a large scope of impact that will allow you to drive profitability.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Provides day-to-day financial overview of the projects
• Is responsible for project profitability with an eye towards client satisfaction, as well as managing administrative functions to ensure the projects achieve the financial KPIs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience related to financial forecasting; risk mitigation; change management; proposal or estimate reviews; or other relevant areas
• Strong understanding of pricing projects and project management within an engineering environment.
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Previous leadership experience

Additional Information

• Exempt Position: Offered rate of compensation in Illinois will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $123,000 - $140,000.
