Summary

Lincoln Electric is seeking an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will provide leadership and direction to personnel while driving efficiency within the production department. Responsibilities

  • Direct and coordinate activities in a fast paced production department.
  • Manage extended team members from cross functional departments within organization.
  • Ensure, develop, and continually improve processes using root cause analysis, promote safe work practices, and environmental performance within the department.
  • Lead efforts to ensure high quality products are manufactured within the department.
  • Coordinatestaffing within the department to meet customer and production requirements and continually improve flexibility of this workforce .
  • Support creation and attainment of departmental goals and metrics; responsible for maximizing the profitability of departmental operations.
  • Responsible for helping develop current and future machining strategy.

Education & Experience Required

  • Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience; Technical or Engineering degree preferred.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience and/or some supervisory training required.
  • Able to communicate and deal effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong customer focus
  • Uncompromising attitude toward safety, environment, health, and quality
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and motivational skills
  • Ability to handle employee and production issues in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Ability to initiate and implement change while gaining acceptance from employees.
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook; MES, SAP, and/or Apriso experience is a plus.
