Position Overview: Area Vice President (AVP)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Vice President to lead our Account Executive team and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, expanding our client base, and maximizing opportunities in alignment of our business goals and Oracle partnership. This role will start as part individual contributor and part coach and lead to a full-time coaching role as the team grows.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles with a minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise sales in the technology and service delivery industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling Oracle (or similar) technology and services including SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, Cloud Consulting, and managed services.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a high performing team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
  • Strong partnership skills and ability to build and navigate relationships with key Oracle players.
  • Proficient in CRM software (preferably SFDC), Office 365, and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate direct reports to drive performance and exceed sales objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, representatives, and industry partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to drive growth and market penetration.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
  • Work with direct reports to manage and review sales pipeline and develop sales forecasts.
  • Build and maintain KPI’s and Analytics for effective performance management.
  • Attend Industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand awareness and build pipeline.
  • Stay updated on Oracle products and services and technology trends to provide expert guidance and support to clients.
