People Generalist

This role is at the center of our Holding team in Amsterdam and Rotterdam. We’ve got a mix of skills here, from Finance and Hospitality to Recruitment, People & Culture, and Marketing. JOB PURPOSE

​​We seek a motivated and detail-oriented People (HR) Generalist to join our HR team. Reporting to the People Business Partner, the People Generalist will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day HR functions and ensuring smooth HR support for the People Business Partner(s) within our business teams. This role is ideal for someone passionate about HR, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is eager to contribute to various HR initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be part of our dynamic People BE-NO team. As a People Generalist, you’ll be the first point of contact for Depsters, ensuring their questions and needs are handled with care and efficiency. You’ll work closely with our People Business Partners, who act as the primary contact for Leadership. In this role, you will report to the People Business Partner.

Supporting the Business Partner(s) in their day-to-day work, this includes:

• Addressing employee inquiries and providing support on HR-related topics.
• Picking up administrative tasks that need to be handled locally, e.g. local benefit administration, global mobility administration or visa processes. A regional People Operations team deals with the core HR administration. 
• You are the link between the Regional People Operations team and the Business Partners to ensure a smooth employee journey. 
• Supporting employee engagement survey action plans.
• Supporting the performance appraisal process and succession planning of the relevant business team(s).
• Participating in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes and the employee experience.
  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Working experience in human resources;
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, local labour law and compliance;
• Someone who can bring fresh thinking and energy to the team with a can-do mentality;
• Punctuality, proactiveness, a positive attitude and ability to work independently;
• Clear communication and ownership over your actions;
• Professional proficiency in the English language.
