Job Summary:

TradeCentric is seeking a People Operations Manager to join our dynamic People team. In this high-impact role, you will drive operational excellence and create scalable processes that enhance efficiency and employee experience. You will oversee the full lifecycle of employee operations, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring seamless execution of HR processes. Pay Range: $80,000-90,000


Work Location: This role is 100% remote. While we prefer candidates based in the below city/states, we are open to considering candidates from other locations if you feel you meet the role’s qualifications. What You'll Do:

People Operations:

  • Oversee and continuously improve the onboarding and offboarding processes to deliver a positive and consistent employee experience
  • Act as the operational backbone of the People team, optimizing workflows and ensuring seamless execution of HR processes to drive efficiency
  • Lead engaging New Hire Welcome sessions, helping team members integrate into TradeCentric’s culture
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to streamline the candidate-to-employee transition process
  • Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation, benefits, and leave of absence requests, while maintaining compliance with applicable laws and policies
  • Other duties as assigned

Compliance and Governance:

  • Support regulatory compliance filings or audits as needed: Multiple Worksite Reporting, EEO-1, Pay Data, SOC II, and HR/Payroll audits
  • Stay up to date with federal and state employment regulations to ensure compliance and accurate reporting
  • Maintain an expert-level understanding of employment-related laws and apply them in day-to-day operations

Data and Analytics:

  • Manage and optimize employee data within Paylocity, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective reporting
  • Evaluate and implement enhancements or new HR systems (HRIS) to improve People Operations

Benefits Administration:

  • Partner with benefits administrators to ensure effective program delivery and continuous improvement of the employee experience
  • Address employee inquiries related to benefits, leave of absence, and related policies

Employee Engagement:

  • Design and execute initiatives that energize the team, support employee well-being, and foster meaningful connections in both remote and in-person environments

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in People Operations or HR roles
  • Skills: Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Integrity: Proven ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and tact
  • Knowledge: Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations
  • Technology: Proficiency with HRIS systems (experience with Paylocity preferred) and the ability to adapt quickly to new systems
  • Adaptability: Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Global Expertise: Familiarity with supporting global or remote teams; multi-state payroll experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Industry Experience: Background in B2B SaaS or software + service businesses is a strong plus
  • Geographic Expertise: Experience supporting employees outside of the US
