Your Role and Responsibilities
The intern should be a regular Doctoral Student interested in working with current technologies of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing especially Large Language Models. The intern is expected to work together with the IBM Research in the different phases of construction and evaluations of language models including data collection and filtering training evaluation and deployment. The intern is also expected to co-write scientific papers and patents with the team.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Regular student in a PhD program or equivalent in the areas of Computer Science Electric or Computer Engineering or related fields.
• The intern must have intermediate to high level (speak understand read write) and be able to engage and collaborate in an international team.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• PhD candidates already working with machine learning and natural language processing are preferred for this position.
• Knowledge and experience with Python-related ML packages Jupiter notebooks and GPU loads are a plus.
