Industrial Security Specialist for a Special Access Program who develops, designs, and administers technical security systems. This multi-faceted security position will be responsible for all aspects of Physical/Technical Security while also providing additional program security support to the CPSO. Responsible for the procurement, installation, and maintenance of intrusion detection, access control and video management systems, as well as the integration of other safety and security subsystems. Provides physical and technical security guidance to internal/external customers and interfaces with various government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations. Provides administrative support which includes overseeing access control systems, supporting all government annual inspections for classified programs, proactively identifies and resolves ongoing issues in advance of inspections. Responsible for preparing Fixed Facility Checklists (FFCs), obtaining site accreditations, and maintaining requirements of UL 2050. Will maintain lock and key access, to include maintenance and repair, for SAPF and Secret Collateral areas.

Required Skills:

• Must possess a Top Secret clearance with current SSBI
• Ability to obtain and maintain accesses as required by government customers
• 4+ years of related Security work experience
• Comprehensive working knowledge of the NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07, Vols 1-4, SAP Security Manuals and related references
• Experience with physical construction (ICD 705) of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs)
• In-depth knowledge of access control, intrusion detection (UL 2050), surveillance and camera systems
• Familiar with mechanical and electronic combination and simplex locks (changing combinations, troubleshooting and repair)

Desired Skills:

• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Intermediate competency level with Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Experience with CCure
• GSA certified safe and vault technician
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven, office environment.
• Experience with both self-inspections and formal program inspection process

Required Education:

• High school diploma with twelve (12) years of experience or
• Associate degree with eight (8) years of experience or
• Bachelor's degree with four (4) years of experience or
• Master's degree with two (2) years of experience

Requires theoretical to advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through University Degree combined with experience. Practical knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.

Engineering/Other Technical Positions:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics(STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
