Job Description
Adventist Health Columbia Gorge is seeking to add a full-time obstetrician/gynecologist for the Columbia River Women's Center in The Dalles, Oregon. Join a well-established partnership consisting of obstetricians/gynecologists. We are seeking a board-eligible or board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist to work in clinic, OR and call. Our group uses an on-site obstetrical ultrasound technologist certified in NT ultrasounds and have a close relationship with our academic Maternal-Fetal Medicine special colleagues. Deliveries range from 15 to 25 a month, and approximately 240 a year.
CRWC is located steps away from the hospital and provides full spectrum women's health services. AHCG is a not-for-profit 49-bed Level III trauma center that has been recognized internationally as one of the leading innovators in person-centered care. The hospital has a 7-bed labor & delivery unit with a Level I nursery, and 24/7 access to the PANDA Team in Portland for emergency transport and consultation.
Located 85 miles east of Portland in the majestic Columbia River Gorge, The Dalles features old-growth forests, rushing waterfalls, and year-round access to outdoor recreation, including downhill and cross-country skiing, world-class water sports, and miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. The area boasts award-winning wineries, affordable housing, and most importantly warm, friendly people.
Education:
- Graduate of four-year U.S. allopathic or osteopathic medical school or equivalent
Licensure/Certification:
- Board eligible or board certified in obstetrics and gynecology
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state(s) of practice
