Job Description
Tecovas is the first direct-to-consumer western brand, founded with the simple goal of making the world’s best western boots, apparel and leather goods - and selling them at a fair price. We are a brand revolutionizing a category and welcoming first-time boot buyers and western enthusiasts alike.Â
Tecovas is looking for a Planner of Accessories. Reporting directly into the Planning team, you will primarily be responsible for product level forecasting and buying for Accessories across channels, partnering cross-functionally and working closely with Merchandising to gain alignment, and ensuring financial goals are achieved while supporting overall company initiatives.
This position is based out of Austin, TX but will have the ability to work from home and in-office.
What you’ll do:
- Manage inventory for the Accessories categories, including forecasting (OTB) and buying (Buy Review), ensuring inventory health to maximize revenue while hitting turn targets set by Finance
- Responsible for out-of-stock reporting, ensuring products in-season are stocked at the warehouse and sales risks are communicated proactively
- Build ad hoc reporting and tools on a as need basis to support strategic business decisions
- Facilitate and manage bottoms up forecasting exercise for category, communicating any risks and opportunities to Merchandising and Finance
- Formulate and manage ladder plans for retired styles to ensure timely liquidation and the success of future launches
- Oversee SKU level markdown strategies as well as identify items to maximize promotional and marketing strategies, based on partnership with category merchant
- Partner closely with Merchandising on assortment and pricing for new product launches, communicating any risks and ensuring IMU and financial targets are achieved
- Present weekly, monthly, and annual forecast and results to ensure alignment across the organization and drive positive shifts in strategy
- Report on product performance, trends, and key insights with Design and Merchandising to help support line plan development for future assortments (as part of Lookback process)
- Strategize and collaborate with Marketing and Merchandising on future promotional plans, ensuring financial targets are achieved and teams are aligned on execution
Experience we’re looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience in Planning and Allocation/Replenishment experience
- Bachelor’s DegreeÂ
- Strong analytical and modeling skills, mainly using Excel
- Strong project management and organizational skills
