Job Description
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and manage Mendix low code platform, using Agile and DevOps methodologies; Ensure Mendix Platform performance, reliability, and scalability; Provide technical support for IT Platforms; Implement system improvements through patching and upgrades.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Mendix; Evaluate proposed enhancements / modules to ensure consistency in design and architecture.
- Develop platform governance by designing the security model to protect company information; Document processes and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and repeatability; Create templates for use across the IT organization.
- Maintain oversight of development practices to ensure solutions meet the development standards, are secure and follow best practices; Test and deploy low code applications, workflows, and services; Provide seamless integrations with other systems and platforms.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with external partners and service providers; Lead and participate in communities of practice to share knowledge and foster continuous improvement.
- Drive architecture innovations to progress application technology frameworks, focusing on automation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Systems Analysis or a related field preferred & at least 2-4 years' industry experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices / toolsets
- Experience in designing and developing scalable, reliable and secure platforms
- Basic low code application and / or workflow development skills
Additional requirements: Regular attendance; the ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing in English with co- workers, supervisors, internal and external customers; the ability to work in stressful conditions; the ability to adapt and respond in changing circumstances; the ability to use a personal computer with the Windows(R) operating system to complete time sheets, send and receive email, and access information posted on the Company's intranet; availability as needed to work on both a scheduled and call-out basis; and the ability to work at the assigned job site.
