Power BI Developer

As a Power BI Developer within the Financial Planning & Analysis team at Mission Cloud (a CDW company), you will be responsible for building, maintaining and enhancing business intelligence dashboards using Power BI. You will transform complex reporting needs into technical specifications, including calculations, custom groups, parameters, filtering criteria, aggregations etc. Create Power BI and Tableau Dashboards to meet complex user requirements and demand. In addition to building Power BI dashboards to address complex user requirements and demand, you will also optimize the dashboards for performance and aesthetics in order to ensure a seamless user experience.
Responsibilities

• Design and develop Power BI dashboards and reports for financial analysis and executive reporting
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate financial data into actionable insights
• Create and maintain data models and DAX measures in Power BI
• Implement row-level security and manage Power BI workspaces
• Integrate Power BI with AWS-based data sources and financial systems

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Power BI, including DAX and data modeling
• Experience with SQL
• Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS
• Prior experience in a business-facing role, especially as part of a Strategic Finance team is strongly preferred.
• Experience with Amazon Redshift
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g. GIT/Github) for report versioning
• Experience with Power BI REST API for automation
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics
• Experience with JIRA or similar agile development tools
• Experience working in a team of Data Engineers/Data Scientists
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual environment

Placement within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and ability as evaluated during the interview process. The compensation range for the base salary of this role is: $133,000 - $190,013
