We are hiring a Pricing Analyst II. The Pricing Analyst II will perform various analysis on pricing data, provides strategic recommendations to improve margins and support the implementation of new pricing structures. The Pricing Analyst II will support pricing requests and quotation processes received from the Sales Team.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages a pricing portfolio for all LSBU product offering
• Processes various pricing requests and provides quotation support to the Sales team using SFDC
• Identifies, tracks and analyzes product sales and profitability of assigned product areas
• Assesses effects of pricing and provides reports to management. Based on such analysis, recommends improvements to enhance pricing strategy and cost-down initiatives to meet business objectives
• Prepare and generate PBI reports and dashboards to analyze sales and profitability of product lines, assesses COGs, and assist in cost reduction programs
• Manages revenue, margins, and pricing for product portfolio and custom projects; updates and presents forecasts regularly to management, finance, and manufacturing teams.
• Develops a pricing strategy based on product strategy, product definition, positioning, and product lifecycle management
• Serves as an internal expert for all product lines and provide strategic guidance and direction for the positioning of Fujifilm Irvine Scientific's Life Science products
• Maintains a current and complete understanding of the assigned markets and assesses trends/dynamics of the segments to proactively position FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific
• Analyzes market trends, customer requirements, competitive strategy, and identify opportunities for increasing customer and business value through product differentiation.
• Work collaboratively with Marketing/ NPD team to strategize price positioning on our products for new or existing business
• Formulates and recommends product pricing, including published price list, custom pricing, special customer pricing and distributor pricing
• Recommends modifications or price improvements based on market research, sales personnel and market feedback, process improvement and customer input
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Procurement, Engineering and Manufacturing) on cost reduction and cost estimation activities
• Promotes and cultivates relationships with industry leaders and key customers through support activities, membership in appropriate organizations, and advisory board panels.
• Provides suggestions to improve current internal processes
• Creates materials for sales training and sales meetings. Carries out assigned training as necessary.
• Travels to participate in meetings or events as needed.

Required Skills/Education

• BS/BA Degree
• Expert in Excel, PBI, and SFDC
• 3+ years of experience with technical background and costing/pricing experience in life science or manufacturing related environment
• Must have proven ability to build relationships and guide teams that include representatives from multiple functional areas
• Must have experience in managing multiple stakeholders and resolving conflict within teams
• Expert in composing and provide reports
• Sales, marketing techniques and a technical knowledge, a plus
• Strong business and customer focus acumen
• Ability to communicate clearly across all levels in the organization as well as externally
• Must be able to manage project scope, budget and schedule to achieve timely completion of project deliverables
• Must be fluent in the English

Salary and Benefits:

• For California, the base salary range for this position is $77,625 to $124,200 annually. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
