All about the role:
The Pricing Sr Manager will help determine theoptimal price for the products / solutions by considering market position,consumer value, competitive landscape, and costs. The ideal candidate will set base prices,develop discount programs, assess the competitive offering, and optimizeElectrolux value proposition. In addition, this position has overallresponsibility for leading the daily & monthly activities of the pricingexecution team. The position reports to the Pricing Office & TransformationDirector.
What you'll do:
In this role you will collaborate with Sales, ProductLine, Marketing and Merchandising to set the pricing strategy, identify areasof opportunity, and monitor pricing performance. You will also own theend-to-end pricing process within the business area. You will continue todevelop new and improved capabilities to execute on price. You will partner with our Commercial Finance divisionto evaluate, summarize, and propose action plans by price tacking channels.
Other responsibilities may include:
Develop and execute comprehensive pricing strategies that address market dynamics, competitive landscape, and product positioning.
Lead pricing governance within United States working closely with internal controls and driving continuous improvement.
Help to lead current pricing transformation process, implementation of new pricing tools and ways of working.
Lead a team with the purpose to analyze market trends, competitive pricing, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for pricing optimization and recommend adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to understand customer segments, value propositions, and market positioning to determine appropriate pricing strategies.
Lead pricing analysis and modeling to forecast the impact of various pricing scenarios on revenue and profitability.
Monitor and evaluate pricing performance against targets and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Work closely with Commercial Finance and Merchandizing team to ensure pricing strategies align with financial goals and contribute to overall company growth.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of pricing analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing strategies are consistent with product lifecycle management, promotions, and sales strategies.
Prepare and present regular pricing performance reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
Management of the sales pricing process within SAP and other tools.
Who you are:
You are comfortable working in SAP, Power BI, andpricing specific software (PROS, Vendavo, Zilliant, etc). You posses a workingknowledge and experience in pricing concepts such as margin/revenue walks(price, volume, mix), price waterfall, value-based pricing, and reward basedpricing. You create data visualizations to uncover and highlight pricingopportunities using Tableau or similar tools. You are comfortable translatingand presenting complex information to stakeholders to form action plans.
Qualifications Required:
B.S. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience with data analysis, pricing, or financial analysis
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw meaningful conclusions, and make data-driven pricing decisions.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of developing and leading high-performing teams
