Position Summary

The Principal SA will be a “player-coach” role and will partner directly with the VP of Technology to define and scale our solutions architecture team & pre-sales strategy.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

As the Principal Solutions Architect, you will serve as the subject matter expert and be accountable for the following functions and responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor AccelByte’s team of Solutions Architects (SA), driving them towards achieving ambitious targets in customer retention, pipeline growth, and revenue generation.
  • Define and establish clear objectives for the SA team, exemplifying excellence as a benchmark, while meticulously monitoring and reporting progress towards these objectives. 
  • Continuously enhance SA engagement and elevate customer support standards.
  • Oversee and manage a subset of enterprise accounts, serving as the primary contact and trusted advisor for all account-related discussions. 
  • Proactively advise clients on maximizing the potential of the AGS platform and its features to optimize their business outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Proven experience managing and leading high-performing SA team
  • Proven experience in delivering & exceeding results on ambitious targets
  • Advanced technical depth with the ability to speak game technical concepts and architecture and know where to position AccelByte’s AGS & Add-ons
  • Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and willingness to get hands dirty and deliver results on behalf of our customers
  • Proactive communication & engagement (ability to see around corners to head off potential customer problems before they occur)
  • Ability to work to work across time zones & cultures
  • Extremely high attention to details
  • Bias towards a data-driven decision-making process
  • Passion for the games industry
