Job Description

Fabletics Men is currently looking for a Print Designer, Apparel + Accessories.

How Do You Fit In?

Under the direction of the VP of Design, the Print Designer is responsible for the creation, execution and management of print development. Your aesthetic should translate into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and easy to understand. You'll be able to clearly communicate creative ideas to both supervisors and stakeholders, collaborate on ideation with fellow Designers, and work with the Product Development team to deliver solutions that are timely and effective.

This position will report to the VP, Men's Design.

What You Will Do:

• Research inspiration, print and print techniques. Compile seasonal mood boards based on design concepts and print stories.
• Design unique and original artworks. Need to be able to create print repeats.
• Collaborate with Designers on the creation of seamless / warpknit engineered patterns. Be able to work on body artwork.
• Stay abreast of trends, new techniques and resources in Print exploring an eclectic variety of textures, animals, flowers, dyes effects, camouflage, etc.
• Create layouts for artwork and communicate with the vendors effective on technique, layout, color approval and timeline.
• Be flexible to work both digital and manual on the creation of the artwork.
• Create tech packs for all new artworks and prints development.
• Responsible for uploading and maintaining our prints into the PLM system (centric)
• Must maintain an organized print library.
• Communicate regularly with Design & Product Development to help problem solve where necessary.
• Acts as a technical resource for the Design teams in terms of production of prints.
• Follow up and coordinate all ongoing projects to meet stated deadlines and track artwork throughout the entire design process.

• Take initiative to streamline and innovate processes to help make workflow more efficient.

What You Can Bring:

• 5+ years of apparel print design experience.
• BFA/ BA in design.
• Previous experience in an Activewear Brand is a plus and preferred.
• Highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Must have a strong eye for color and can recolor bought prints, as well as self-created prints artworks in a timely manner.
• Incredibly creative and innovative with strong knowledge of print and graphic techniques. Can create vector-based and hand drawn prints and put into repeat.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
• A team player, you contribute positively to team dynamic, cultivate passion and productivity. You are solutions driven and an efficiency advocate as well as having an all-hands-on deck mentality.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $74,100-$90,000. The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role. Offered base salary will be dependent on factors including the scope and complexity of the role, candidate's related work experience, subject matter expertise and work location.
