How you'll make a difference?

The Process Improvement Analyst will assist in building structured procedures around the Spinal Implant business unit with the attention to pricing, distributor requirements, business needs and inventory management. The position will focus on process improvements across organizations, including Sales Operations, Business Operations, Customer Service and Inventory Management. This position will also help develop the strategy and direction of the organization.

What will your duties and responsibilities be?

The following are the essential functions of this position. This position may be responsible for performing additional duties and tasks as needed and assigned.

  • Provide assistance in the ongoing development of process enhancement and improving projects through requirements gathering and testing.

  • Oversees and provides input for Inventory management level setting

  • Set up of all distributors for inventory levels

  • Provide monthly/quarterly update of distributor safety stock levels

  • Provide and analyze reporting for inventory above the set limits

  • Work with sales force as needed

  • Report on order entry overrides for inventory level setting and be able to see if the levels need to be adjusted

  • Update Safety stock for increased sales, as needed

  • Work with supply chain to adjust demand for inventory level increases

  • Possess strong commitment to a team environment with the ability to contribute expertise and follow directives as needed

  • Ability to speak in public to groups and vial electronic communications

  • Ability to work cross functionally and lead change management processes within those organizations

  • Assist in the creation, development, management, testing and implementation of strategic system improvements and enhancements under the direction of management

  • Assist in the development and delivery of support training packages for projects that require stand along training

  • Promote and exude a positive work environment.

  • Understand and promote Compliance adherence.

  • Timely completion of all corporate wide and departmental training.

  • Regular attendance required

  • Other projects as assigned

What skills and experience will you need?

Education/Certifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience, Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities:

  • Critical thinking, communication and analytic skills

  • Exceptional computer skills including operation of Microsoft Office

  • Demonstrated understanding of the company’s policies and procedures

  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills, problem solving, and change management skills

  • Knowledge of both internal and external quality standards

  • Demonstrated time management

  • Ability to support various departments within the company

  • Ability to take an objective approach (or remain objective) while working with various departments within the company

  • Must be able to work in a team environment with a high degree of professionalism

  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Duties require a thorough working knowledge of company policies and procedures using professional judgment and initiative

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

  • Some travel may be required

The anticipated salary for this position for an employee who is located in California is $70,000 to $93,000 per year, plus bonus, and benefits.
