Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Pricing Manager to join our team, responsible for supporting internal business units through comprehensive data analysis and strategic buying initiatives.
This is a hybrid role and requires the individual to be onsite in New York 2 times a week. Would suit someone based in New York, New Jersey or Connecticut.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards, data models, and reporting tools to support pricing decisions, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to pricing volatility, supply chain disruptions, and market fluctuations to protect profitability.
- Implement automated solutions to streamline data analysis and reporting, improving efficiency and reducing manual work.
- Establish data governance standards to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in pricing and strategic analysis.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for pricing effectiveness and procurement efficiency, providing regular leadership updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and meet savings objectives within set timeframes.
- Analyze complex data sets to generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations for key customers and leadership.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in data science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment working with multiple data sources.
- Expertise in Excel and Power BI, with proficiency in advanced data analytics tools like SQL, Python, or R (preferred).
- Strong background in procurement or supply chain management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to extract and communicate key data insights.
- Strong communication skills, with Spanish as a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
