Job Description

  • Be responsible for multiple (sub-)categories, defining category strategies and implementing those in alignment with business strategy
  • Manage portfolio of vendors and global ecosystem within the category
  • Manage relationships to priority-vendors within the category throughout the whole life-cycle, incl. performance and KPIs management 
  • Own RfXs and initiatives (e.g., savings, performance enhancement, …) within the category and performs negotiations for critical contracts and framework agreements 
  • Support the Sales organization in joint sales engagements and foster Avaloq-know-how amongst selected Vendors

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of working in category and vendor relationship management for IT- or banking-services someone with a background in software- & cloud-purchasing
  • Advanced German language skills, other languages would be an advantage
  • Proven track record in managing complex contracting setups and achieving commercial objectives in negotiations 
  • University degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a similar field
