Job Description
The Product Management Senior Advisor provides leadership and strategic direction in driving compliance for State Commercial Regulations. This position will take a lead role in consulting with cross functional partners to provide compliant solutions to meet state requirements. This involves working in a dynamic environment where client impact and legal requirements may vary from state to state. This position will be responsible for development, implementation and enhancement of viable solutions that drive compliance for commercial and other health plans.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to understand and analyze gaps in meeting legal requirements of state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to identify gaps and develop solutions to meet regulations
- Provide input and direction to best suit varying client types across various regulations
- Understands business impacts to the PBM as well as clients and member experience when making recommendations for viable solutions
- Communicate strategies and deliverables with clients, account teams and leadership effectively.
- Create effective and concise documentation to reflect strategies, available options for clients and implemented solutions
- Demonstrate leadership within the team by taking end-to-end ownership of regulation and becoming the expert for specific state regulations impacting commercial clients.
- Develops product roadmaps and ideates new product/product enhancements
- Analyze regulations and provide meaningful insights to key stakeholders
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field or five to eight (5-8) years of experience within a PBM setting
- Knowledge of state regulations and commercial plans preferred
- Problem solving, critical thinking and ability to work in a dynamic environment
- Able to synthesize regulations, communicate (internally and externally) and solve for them effectively
- Advanced problem solving skills with the ability to work cross functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with a sense of urgency
- Client interfacing skills highly desirable
- Ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines in complex situations
- Experience working on IT projects to make enterprise level enhancements
- Working knowledge of benefit setups and allowable changes preferred
- Proficient as a self-starter and detail oriented and proactive
This is a hybrid role and will require the ability to work in person.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
