About the role:

The Global Product Manager of AccuCath Ace will work within the Peripheral IV Catheter (PIVC) platform and Vascular Access Device (VAD) business group to support vision of the right catheter, for the right patient, at the right time. With a focus on driving product utilization in existing markets, this role involves researching and assessing market and clinical trends to identify unmet customer needs that can be addressed through the BD's innovative technologies. The Global Product Manager will spearhead work to drive these initiatives through to commercial execution.

The role will report to the Sr. Product Manager, Blood Control IV Catheters on the PIVC platform and will be located at in Salt Lake City, UT.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • The Product Manager is responsible for managing and driving growth of the AccuCath Ace product line within the Outcomes Driven Business Segment.
  • Create execution strategy for AccuCath Ace, marketing plan development, new product development and pipeline strategies. Includes core customer requirements, financial plans, market development activities, claims and data, launch plans, lifecycle management, and marketing tactics.
  • Demonstrates customer centric behaviors to use and analyze data to generate meaningful and actionable customer insights.
  • Ability to apply market insights, driven dynamics, and levels of product differentiation to optimize value received by the customer, with consideration for patient outcomes (HEOR).
  • Ability to identify and access different sources of revenue (e.g., new product configurations, indications for use, or value-added services); create and present business case to PIVC leadership.
  • Develop campaigns based upon brand and portfolio strategy. Leverage data to predict ideal targets, including lead management.
  • Identifies, develops and delivers needed marketing promotions, programs, sales tools, technical/research resources to ensure sales growth and market development for multiple product lines.
  • Inspire confidence through storytelling, stakeholder management, and problem solving, and drive best practice sharing across regions.

About you:

  • Leadership experience in directing successful product launches: including writing and implementing the marketing plan
  • Global product launch experience
  • Critical thinker
  • Excellent communication skills: oral, written, and presentation
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Travel 10% of the time

Education and experience required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of five years sales/marketing or equivalent experience in healthcare or comparable field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year sales experience preferred
  • MBA preferred, but not required
  • Prior experience in healthcare communications, education and promotions.
