Product Manager, Brand Safety & Marketplace Quality
Location: Los Angeles, Broomfield, New York, Boston
Hybrid Schedule (M/F remote, T/W/TH in-office)

Magnite has an immediate need for a product management professional to define and build brand safety and marketplace quality strategies and products for our advertising exchanges. The position will work with our internal engineering and revenue organizations, customers, third-party providers, and industry standards bodies to develop solutions to combat fraud and malware, enable supply chain transparency and viewability measurement, and tackle other emergent issues in our global programmatic advertising infrastructure.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple brand safety and marketplace quality initiatives and products from inception through delivery (and ongoing growth and maintenance)
  • Build business cases for new products and features and drive decisions on business prioritization and technical tradeoffs
  • Drive automation of ad-hoc operational processes
  • Collaborate and communicate across matrixed teams towards a unified direction and ensure capabilities are scalable, coherent, and maintainable
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of product functionality
  • Translate roadmaps into near-term milestones and deliverables
  • Develop detailed product and technical requirements from business requirements
  • Collaborate with engineering to draft technical specs and deliver new services and features
  • Communicate strategy and updates through written narratives and documents
  • Prepare product documentation, release notes, and training materials
  • Be a creative, collaborative problem solver

Qualifications:
  • 4 or more years experience as a product manager, technical product manager, product marketer, engineering lead, technical account manager, operations lead, solutions engineer or a combination of the functions
  • Familiarity with inventory/ad quality and fraud issues in programmatic advertising is an advantage
  • Knowledge of digital advertising, Connected TV (CTV), Online Video (OLV) is a plus
  • Familiar with protocols like HTTP and TCP/IP, architectural conventions like RESTful API design, concepts of algorithmic complexity
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficient with reporting and analysis. Familiarity with SQL and ability to generate complex ad-hoc queries is a plus
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, with ability to clearly distill complex business problems into technical concepts
  • Thrives on learning quickly and managing multiple priorities

In California, the base salary range for this positions is: $110,000 - $140,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
In New York, the base salary range for this positions is: $110,000 - $140,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
In Colorado, the base salary range for this position is: $100,000 - $130,000 in addition to an annual variable bonus based on performance and company equity (NASDAQ: MGNI).
