What You'll Do
As a Product Manager on the Offer and Product Operations team in the Strategy, Growth and Operations organization, you will help lead the strategy and execution of launching new product offers into the marketplace. This means designing/defining and developing new offers (packaging, price lists, discounting, SKUs), socializing offers with key stakeholders (marketing, sales, finance, support, operations), and working cross-functionally to drive the delivery of these offers to market.
You will engage with business leads to understand the product roadmap and evolve the pricing and packaging framework accordingly. You will need to build relationships with other product teams within Cisco to build and launch joint offers.
You will play an important role in training the field (sellers and partners) about the new
offers. Additionally, you will monitor the health of launches and optimize and support offers over their lifecycle. This includes defining launch success metrics, answering and resolving offer inquiries, and supporting seller requests.
Managing deal desk inquiries along with the finance team is an important responsibility of this role, which will require building a deeper understanding of the product, the market conditions and the competitive environment.

You will be working closely across key functional areas (Product, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Support, and Operations) of the security portfolio to gain an understanding of what it means to deliver offers to market at scale.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a strong background in SaaS pricing & packaging and go-to-market models.
  • Have expertise with SaaS monetization models, with an understanding of competitive & value-based pricing strategies.
  • Be a self-starter with high levels of initiative, commitment and energy
  • Have a strong ability to structure a solution to complex problems and lead offers from concept to launch
  • Love to dig deeper to uncover issues and solve problems
  • Enjoy working with data and build stories from it for decision making
  • Be organized and process oriented, with attention to detail
  • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills

Educational / Professional Background
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent technical experience
  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) preferred
  • 5+ years of Product Management or Product Marketing experience in Security, Networking or related fields.
  • Expertise in SaaS, cloud-delivered security and/or networking services preferred
