Position OverviewÂ
The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for executing marketing plans for Thrive’s products and services to our prospects, customers, and partners. Thrive’s Next Gen managed services include private and public Cloud, Cyber Security, Disaster Recovery, Global Network Management, Microsoft Collaboration, and Professional Services. As a critical Marketing team member, you will work directly with internal stakeholders to develop go-to-market strategies for new and existing services. The individual must be highly motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player willing to work in a demanding and dynamic environment.
Primary ResponsibilitiesÂ

Create marketing content and technical writing (sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts) that articulates the benefits of our products and business outcomes under brand guidelinesÂ

Responsible for website product contentÂ
-
Conduct market analysis to understand the competitive landscape and help establish product differentiatorsÂ
-
Enter and complete industry/product awardsÂ
-
Assist in creating visual assets that complement written content, such as diagrams, infographics, and illustrationsÂ

Assist with Client Portal content and roadmapÂ
-
Contribute to the development and update of targeted customer profiles & verticalsÂ
-
Create sales collateral and tools that align with the buying process and help move prospects & customers through the sales cycleÂ
-
Communicate the vision and value of new products to the sales team to facilitate our consultive selling processÂ
-
Develop sales enablement tools, presentations, and webinar abstractsÂ
-
Develop talk tracks specific to PowerPoint presentationsÂ
-
Plan and participate in the launch of new services and products, which involve several different departmentsÂ
-
Continuously assesses the market and identifies strengths, gaps, and areas for products and servicesÂ
-
Analyze sales data, channel information, and create plans to improve product line sales using marketing and sales techniquesÂ
-
Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personasÂ
-
Assist with Gartner informed positioning and messaging related to our core offeringsÂ
QualificationsÂ
-
Bachelor’s Degree in a technology, marketing, or related disciplineÂ
-
Excellent grammar, written and oral communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with internal product stakeholdersÂ
-
Strong understanding of technology, including software, hardware, or related products – specifically Cybersecurity and Cloud platformsÂ
-
Strong understanding of how products and services are sold through hybrid sales model.Â
-
Fundamental knowledge of managed services concepts and practicesÂ
-
7+ years of product marketing, product management, or digital marketing experience, preferably in a related industryÂ
-
Strong ability to execute. Effective at partnering with team members and reaching out in real time to overcome roadblocksÂ

Prior experience with MSP/MSSP is preferredÂ
